Truro City were "frustrated" following their 0-0 draw with Dunstable Town, according to defender Rob Farkins.
City remain third in the Southern Premier League, six points off second-placed Corby Town.
"It was a frustrating day for the boys, but we got a clean sheet and it's another point closer to the play-offs," suspended Farkins told BBC Cornwall.
"Finishing second is well on our minds now with Corby dropping a couple of points."
Of the sides in the play-off places only St Neots Town won on Saturday, with Truro, Corby and Weymouth all drawing.
