Boss backs boys to bounce back...

WHITE Tigers’ boss, Leigh Robinson, has given his verdict on our Buildbase FA Trophy defeat at the hands of Stockport County.
“We came up against a quality side,” he admitted. “Whilst we had some key players missing through a combination of injury, illness and unavailability, we always knew that it would be a tough ask against a side in good form and with confidence high.
“It proved to be a game too far for us in the end. We had to change our system early on because, all credit to them, their intensity, pressing and work-rate straight from the off was something to behold.
“On the day we just couldn’t cope with it. Things improved for us slightly after the break; we at least got the ball into the front two a bit more but in the end we were beaten by the better side.
“We’ll go away, lick our wounds and be ready to go again at the weekend when the battle for League points returns.
“This group of players tend to get over poor results pretty quickly. We don’t carry a lack of confidence into the next game and it’s a good quality that has manifested itself over time.
“Saturday’s game against Weston super Mare is a big one for both clubs and we’ll be ready for it and determined to bounce back in the right way.”
