THE White Tigers got another three points in the bag after an impressive 0-3 win over Yate Town at Lodge Road.
First half goals from Tyler Harvey and Niall Thompson put us in the driving seat before Louis Rooney added a late third to secure victory.
Having beaten Hayes and Yeading 3-0 at Treyew Road last weekend and beating Barnstaple 2-5 in the Southern League Challenge Cup in the week, we headed to Gloucestershire looking to end a near perfect week on a high.
It was nearly a nightmare start for us though as a misplaced pass from Harlain Mbayo was latched onto quickly by the hosts but they fired wide of the target.
After having to soak up some pressure inside the opening fifteen minutes, we were in fact the ones to break the deadlock. It was that man Tyler Harvey again. Fresh from two goals against Hayes on his return, the striker headed home a beautifully waited corner from Will Dean to give us the lead.
James Hamon was then pulled into a stunning save to stop the hosts from equalising as he knocked a shot onto the post before we added a second just before the interval.
Niall Thompson was played in well by Mbayo as he ran through and slotted into the far bottom corner to double our lead with his fifth goal of the season.
Going into the second half we were in complete control and had a number of chances.
Thompson picked out an unmarked Ryan Law in the box who blasted over the bar while Will Dean had a shot comfortably saved by Forster after some good build play from Harrison Davis.
The third goal did come with seven minutes to play. Dean rattled the cross bar before the ball kindly fell to Louis Rooney who fired home from close range to wrap up the points.
Alex Battle saw an effort go over the bar as we saw the game out and picked up our seventh league win from our opening ten games.
We are next in action on Saturday as we head to the Earlsmead Stadium to face Harrow Borough, kick off 3pm.
