The team has responded in a positive fashion to our heavy home reverse at the hands of East Thurrock, with manager, Lee Hodges, overseeing what he describes as a ‘back to basics’ approach.

“It’s been a case of going back to basics,” he admitted. “I want us to become a solid unit and hard to beat, and that has certainly been the case over the past three games.

“There were plenty of positives to come out of Tuesday’s game; the only disappointment was that we didn’t come out of it with all three points.

“The lads worked hard for each other and we were the better side for long periods. It gives us something to build upon.”
