NEW GROUND UNDERWAY

We are delighted to confirm that Truro City FC will be once again playing in their home city after work has started on the new football and community sports facilities at Langarth Garden Village on the western edge of Truro.

Cornwall Council is working alongside Truro City FC to provide the new facilities which, as an important community hub, will be also used by Threemilestone FC as well as other sports clubs in Cornwall.

The timing is critical for bringing Truro City back to Truro for the 2024/5 football season, while we open up the opportunity for this groundbreaking community investment campaign. The intention is for the Cornish Pirates Rugby Club to join them in due course.

The facilities have been designed to comply with both the FA and RFU minimum standards criteria on pitch size, changing rooms and medical facilities to ultimately allow both football and rugby to be played at the Sports Hub. Playing surface remains critical to multi-use of this sports facility and continues to form a key part of discussions.

Extensive site and earth works have commenced to create the roads, footpaths, energy centre and general infrastructure needed for the new facilities.

This development marks a crucial step in our journey towards safeguarding professional sport in the Duchy. To take part in the community investment campaign, visit our campaign page at https://crowdcube.com/kernowsport

Thank you to all who have taken part so far. At the end of our first week since going public we have over 230 investors in this rare opportunity to own a stake in professional sports in Cornwall.

For one and all!
