A seven hour trip for Truro City for their first visit to the home of the Waders, surprisingly Truro were really quick out the blocks. The Waders pitch in near perfect condition provided them with a great incentive to play football.
On 8 minutes Waders pressure brought an early goal from the in-form Craig Daniel linking with Nat Peacock to smash a shot pass the bewildered Truro 'keeper. 1-0.
Within a minute Truro were level, an outstanding strike from around 30 years twisted in the air to beat Brownie..1-1 (Codie Cooke - pictured getting a strike on goal from an earlier match this season).
Truro continued to search for another goal, then a Waders quick break forward forcing a corner, Lee Allinson whipped a cross/shot into the crowded goal-area to score 2-1 on 22 minutes.
End to end play followed as each side sought to obtain control, surely one of the easiest game for the officials to officiate with hardly a foul in the game.
The Waders back four (the green wall) held firm for the Waders to record their third win on the bounce.
The supporters and players were treated to the famous Bedfordshire CLANGER , which brought compliments from the Truro faithful.
Gunn’s Bakery promoted their wares, and sent the Truro players extra supplies for the inevitable long journey home returning at 5am next morning.
