City finished off their away Calor League Premier Division programme with a resounding 5-2 victory in front of a crowd of just under 700 at Weymouth this afternoon, giving them the double over the Dorset side following a 2-1 home victory against the same opposition just a couple of weeks ago.
Truro did it the hard way though after conceding a very early goal which was put away by former Treyew Road favourite Stewart Yetton. However with only nine minutes on the clock the visitors were in front as firstly Skipper Paul Kendall levelled the score and then striker Ben Watson (pictured) made it 2-1.
However the game was all square again, 2 all by the half time break as Yetton scored his and Weymouth's second.
After the break though City took command and it was pretty much all Truro as Steve Tully's side took control with goals from Neil Slateford, a second from Watson and substitute Liam Eddy as they ran out impressive winners and can now look forward to their last remaining game of the season at home to Burnham this coming Saturday.
