THE WHITE Tigers were hit by a late strike as Eastbourne Borough inflicted our second defeat in a row at Treyew Road.
It was a scrappy opening to the game with neither side able to really get into their stride and grab hold of proceedings.
There was a chance for Cody Cooke who saw his strike blocked by the 'keeper before Charlie Harris went close at the other end when his strike from distance struck the woodwork.
The second half saw Truro see more of the ball without seriously threatening Bailey Vose in the visitors' goal as we found the Eastbourne back-line in resilient mood.
As the clock ticked down, Ben Harding went close whilst the returning Tyler Harvey had an effort that clipped the post following good work in the build-up from Connor Riley-Lowe.
The visitors performed a smash-and-grab late on when a loose ball was seized upon by Ryan Worrell whose strike beat the despairing dive of Tom McHale.
It gave his side all three points as there was no way back for The White Tigers as we had the stuffing knocked out of us.
