MATCH REPORT - Truro City 1 Wealdstone 2 - 11/03/2017

It was a bright start for Lee Hodges’ side as we saw plenty of the early ball and looked the most likely to open the scoring.
After forcing two early corners and also seeing Stewart Yetton go close, the visitors started to get into their stride with Aryan Tajbakhsh getting in a strike that went wide of the mark.
There was a let-off for Wealstone as Wes Parker headed off the line and almost straight away they went down the other end and opened the scoring when Joe White was able to fire beyond Martin Rice.
City tried to hit back straight away and pushed forward. Ollie Knowles went close before just before the break a half-clearance following a free-kick fell to Dan Smith whose low ball into the danger zone was seized upon by Jamie Richards who sweetly fired home to make it 1-1.
The early exchanges of the second period saw a couple of free-kicks out wide cause concern for the visitors, whilst Tyler Harvey also went close as we looked in purposeful mood.
However, as the game went on, the visitors started to get themselves back into it and with just over ten minutes to go Koroma rattled the woodwork.
It was only a temporary let-off as following a corner, Tom Hamblin was able to bundle home at the far post and grab the winner to give his team all three points.
There was a welcome run-out towards the end for Cody Cooke as he returned to action for the first time since the end of September due to injury but his presence failed to find the leveller despite our best efforts.
