First Team v Plymouth Argyle X1

MANAGER Derek Adams thought an Argyle XI were unfortunate not to win their pre-season game against Truro City at Treyew Road on Wednesday night.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw with striker Louis Rooney getting a 66th minute equaliser for a young Pilgrims' side.

Truro, newly-promoted to the National League South, had taken an early lead with a goal from Plymouth-born Matt Wright.

Argyle's oldest player was 20-year-old Tyler Harvey while left-back Ben Purrington, 19, was their captain.
