Truro City vs Yeovil Town update

Kick off 3pm Saturday 2nd August 2014.

This Saturday, Treyew Road will host League one opposition Yeovil Town in unique circumstances to celebrate Truro City's 125 year anniversary. This will be Yeovil Town’s penultimate away match before their first league match proper on the 9th August.

As with Yeovil Town, we will be playing our first team eleven so an exciting all action game is predicted along with a fine display of football.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 30th, the Truro City team coach “Spirit of Cornwall” will be travelling to Yeovil to collect the team and take them to a preseason training camp in Cornwall. In the evening, the Yeovil team will be taken to Home Park where they will be playing Plymouth Argyle, again in a preseason friendly and then returning back to camp.

On Saturday the Spirit of Cornwall will collect the Yeovil Team in readiness for the 1.30pm arrival at Treyew Road for the 3.00pm kick off and perhaps history in the making. This is one of those occasions not to be missed. Our sincere thanks go to Yeovil Town and particularly to manager Gary Johnson who has kindly helped both Truro City and Cornwall by participating in this celebratory match.

Turnstiles and Bars will be open at 12 noon and the overspill Car Park available at the County Hall. Please arrive early to avoid congestion.

Season Ticket holders will gain free entry to this exciting fixture. As with the Argyle game last week, your names and details will be held at the turnstiles. There is no requirement to bring your receipt.

It is anticipated that the Season Tickets will be available on Monday 4th August. More details to follow when available.
