Excellent away win makes it four League games unbeaten for City...

THE WHITE Tigers came from behind to secure a hard-earned and deserved 2-1 victory at high-flying Wealdstone to extend our unbeaten League run to four games.

With Louis Rooney making his debut up front following his loan arrival from Plymouth Argyle, the youngster went close with an early chance which he fired over.

It was the home team who took the lead just past the quarter-hour mark when the in-form Elliot Benyon found the net as he latched on to a probing long ball.

After the home side had rattled the woodwork, Niall Thompson, went close when he was alert to a poor back-pass only for the ‘keeper to deny him.

The second period started with chances at either end before Thompson levelled matters with 20 minutes to go when he found the top corner from a tight angle.

The equaliser gave us plenty of momentum and we looked the most likely side in the closing stages with Rocky Neal firing just over from a good position.

Our reward finally came with just a couple of minutes left on the clock when Rooney did well to feed Neal and he made no mistake as he rounded the advancing ‘keeper before slotting home with much aplomb.

The goal sparked celebratory scenes amongst players and supporters alike.
