Martin was presented with the award (and a bottle of champagne of course!) by Ron Ratchford and John Noble of the Truro City Supporters Club before the match against Wealdstone yesterday.

I don't think anyone who has watched Truro City this season would argue that the award isn't well deserved. It's impossible to say how many points Martin has earned the club through his rock-sold presence at the back this season but it's definitely a fair few. And given how tight it finished at the top of the National League South, those points have made a huge difference.

Congratulations to Martin and of course to Deba Sidhu whose contribution as Goalkeeping Coach has meant that we have not just one top class 'keeper but a second to keep him on his toes in the form of Tom McHale.
