THE EVER-POPULAR Stewart Yetton is hoping that The White Tigers can respond to last weekend’s home defeat in the right way as we return to Treyew Road for the visit of Oxford City on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).
Yetton made a rare start as we slipped at the hands of Wealdstone for our fourth home defeat of the season.
“I was delighted to get a starting place, but it was disappointing that we couldn’t build on our first half performance,” he admitted. “We were creating chances and looking a real threat and went in at the break well in control.
“Then a couple of minutes of madness right at the start of the second half ended up costing us dear.
“All of our good work from the first half was undone in that two-minute spell, but we’re straight back on home soil on Saturday and have a chance to put it right and bounce back.
“There is no time to dwell on things at this stage of the season; we want to be able to kick-on and start another positive run of results.
“We know that it won’t be easy because Oxford City did a number on us earlier in the season, so we certainly owe them one for that.”
