Rob Farkins has today announced that he is leaving Truro City to concentrate on his career in the British Army. A recent posting to Stafford has meant that the extensive travelling and Army commitments are too much to give 100% to the club.

Rob joined Truro from rivals Bideford last season and appeared over fifty times and scored five goals for City. Rob will be missed by everyone at the Club but we wish him well in his career.

In an interview with Rob earlier today at the Havant game (awaiting moderation), Rob thanked the fans and the Chairman for their support in his time at Truro.

Rob tweeted earlier "thank you to all players, staff and especially the supporters - loved every minute".
