White Tigers draw at East Thurrock United...

THE WHITE Tigers extended our unbeaten run with a 2-2 draw at East Thurrock United.
It was a cagey opening period with chances few and far between at either end as both sides cancelled each other out.
The game was in need of a spark and it came just before the break when Tyler Harvey found some space at the far post to latch onto a cross and guide the ball home to continue his good form in front of goal.
The goal brought the home side to life as they started the second period brightly and notched an equaliser through half-time substitute, Freddie Moncur, who didn’t take long to make his mark on the game.
We had to work hard to keep the home side at bay as they pushed for another goal and our reward came when we regained the lead following some defensive hesitation as Dan Rooney was able to force the ball over the line.
The home side hit back eight minutes from time when Sam Higgins headed home from close range beyond debutant 'keeper, Harvey Rivers, to make it 2-2.
There were half-chances at either end as the clock ticked down as both sides had to settle for a share of the spoils.
