White Tigers bring home all three points...

THE WHITE Tigers battled out a 1-0 win at Hungerford Town in a game which saw us forced to play with ten men for over an hour.
It was a cagey opening to the game with chances at a premium at either end before we started to get a foot-hold into proceedings as the first half went on.
There was a booking for Aaron Lamont before we were reduced to ten men as half-time approached when Cody Cooke was dismissed for a strong challenge.
It didn’t take us long to regroup and with just over five minutes to go until the break, we managed to get our noses in front when an inviting ball into the danger zone following some neat play that carved open the home side was turned into his own net by Tyler as Rocky Neal lurked with intent.
Going into the second period in front, we knew that our hosts would start to push on for a leveller, but we showed great resilience to keep them at bay and frustrate them.
Whilst we defended well, we also looked a threat on the break and posed a number of questions for our hosts.
After Ben Gerring was booked, tempers started to boil over late on and it ended with the home side also going down to ten men as Alex Wall was dismissed, whilst Tom McHale also saw yellow for The White Tigers.
The closing stages saw us continue to frustrate our hosts as we put in a hard-working and resolute display to secure a deserved and hard-earned three points to maintain our position amongst the League leaders.
