Boss gives his verdict on our dramatic Treyew Road win...

THE WHITE Tigers celebrated our first home League game of the season at Treyew Road with a dramatic 2-1 victory over St. Albans City.
A penalty from hot-shot Tyler Harvey and a stoppage time strike from substitute, Louis Rooney, saw us claim a vital win.
“It was a very welcome three points, particularly after losing three of our previous four games,” said manager, Leigh Robinson. “We felt that this was always going to be a key night for us; we were keen to put on a good show, but more importantly we wanted to win the game.
“We know that we’ve got the energy and endeavour and we’ll score goals, but we were also able to combine this by tightening up defensively.
“The lads really knuckled down after we fell behind and eventually got our reward. I spoke at half-time about the need for us to get in behind them quicker and getting in better delivery from set-pieces, which we did in the second half.
“It’s an excellent three points for us and now we turn our attention to the Buildbase FA Trophy tie at Stockport County on Saturday.
“Everyone knows that our priority is moving up the League table, but we will go there and give it everything we’ve got.
“We’ll be down to the bare bones in terms of the personnel available and we know that it will be tough as they are a strong side, but we’ll give it our best shot.”
