Boss on our victory at Slough Town...

WHITE Tigers’ manager, Leigh Robinson, was a happy man after seeing his side get straight back into winning ways with a hard-earned 2-1 victory at Slough Town.
“It’s been a tough week with two games in four days, both on artificial pitches,” he admitted. “To get three points from these two tricky away assignments was very pleasing.
“We really struggled on the pitch at Oxford which was slow, covered in the dreaded black rubber crumb and, to be honest, it looked like both teams were playing a different game on it.
“At Slough on Tuesday evening, it was a much quicker surface, very different to Oxford and it suited us more.
“It was a hell of an effort from the players to win at Slough, especially when you bear in mind our preparation, turning up at 7.20pm due to heavy traffic and then finding ourselves a goal behind early on.
“But we took our chances and defended our box brilliantly, particularly in the second half, to turn the scoreline around and bring home a hard-earned three points.”
Don't forget that Saturday's Buildbase FA Trophy first round tie against Weston super Mare will be played at Treyew Road (kick-off 3.00pm), so come and show your support...
