Boss gives his verdict...

WHITE Tigers’ boss, Leigh Robinson, has given his verdict on our 3-2 victory over Dulwich Hamlet as we continue to climb the Vanarama National League South table.
“It was a really good win against a very good team and also a thoroughly entertaining game,” he said. “Physically we weren’t at our best with a few knocks and niggles and Dan Rooney only had 50 minutes in him after playing for Plymouth on Friday, so we had to juggle things around a bit.
“In the second half it began to feel a bit like Hereford in the FA Cup again, but the difference this time was that we we’re far fitter and had better players to bring off the bench to make the difference, which Noah and Lewis in particular, did in the last 20 minutes.
“In the final quarter-of-an-hour, the game was so open and it felt like one team would win 3-2 as there were so many chances at either end.
“Of course, we were delighted that it was us who took the chance that mattered.
“Eight points from the last four games is a really good return from the fixtures that we have had and hopefully we can use it as a springboard now.”
The next test comes in the shape of a trip to Chelmsford City on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).
“We know it will be a test,” admitted Robinson. “Chelmsford are really strong at home on a small pitch where set-pieces become vital.
“We know we’ll need to apply ourselves properly defensively for the full 90 minutes to have a chance of picking up a result.”
