WHITE Tigers’ boss, Lee Hodges, was pleased with the effort that his players put in as we came home from Bath City with a point and a clean sheet from a goalless draw.
“It was a fair result,” he admitted. “It was a very even contest; they started better but we grew into it as the first half went on and then after the break it was a similar story.
“Both sides had a decent chance to win it in the second half. We were unlucky when Cody’s effort hit the crossbar but we’ll take the point and the clean sheet.
“This is always a tough place to come and Bath have some quality in their side. We knew it would be difficult but we looked solid and gave it a go.
“Alex [Hartridge] came into the side in place of Ben Gerring and slotted in well. The work-rate was excellent from everyone, we put in a real shift so I am pleased.
“Any point away from home is good and now our focus turns to the next game at home to Concord in seven days’ time.”
