Another hard-working display from City...

WHITE Tigers’ boss, Lee Hodges, was happy with the effort displayed by his team as we came home from Hungerford Town with a 1-0 win having played for over half the game with ten men following Cody Cooke’s dismissal.
“It was a bit of a crazy game,” he said. “It was by no means a dirty game but there were two red cards and a number of bookings.
“We didn’t start the game particularly well and then it was disappointing to lose Cody in the manner that we did, but the lads put in a big performance after that.
“We had to be organised, keep our shape and work extremely hard, which we did.
“The build-up to our goal was fantastic and although it went in off their lad, Rocky was waiting to put it in after we carved them open.
“We had to dig-in and work hard after that. Everyone played their part; we had to roll our sleeves up to get the result.”
It means that we are third in the table, just a point off the lead and face another big game at second-placed Braintree Town on Tuesday evening.
“It’s so tight up there but it’s great to be in the mix,” added Hodges. “Our focus turns now to the next game and the challenge that we face at Braintree.
“We’ll go there full of confidence; this was always going to be a tough week with three tricky away games. The full squad is going to be needed but those boys are giving me everything.”
