WHITE Tigers manager, Leigh Robinson, has expressed his disappointment after seeing his side beaten 3-1 at home by struggling East Thurrock United.
“We were dreadful and deserved nothing from the game,” he said without hesitation. “It was arguably our worst performance in my time here.
“I thought that physically we were dominated by East Thurrock, who also showed far more desire in both boxes, and this unfortunately for us added up to a bad day at the office.
“I think the key to today was the times of the goals that we gave away; we conceded within the opening couple of minutes of each half which gave our opponents a massive boost twice and we weren’t able to wrestle the momentum back.
“The pitch at home is causing us real problems and suited East Thurrock down to the ground as we couldn’t string five passes together on it.
“I know we’ll play much better than that so we need to write this one off and try and rectify it next Saturday.”
