WHITE Tigers’ boss, Lee Hodges, has expressed his disappointment after we went down to a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of fellow play-off hopefuls, Braintree Town.
“We knew how big a game this was and set up to be solid,” he said. “It was always going to be difficult losing our two top scorers, but Rocky came in and worked hard.
“It was frustrating because we limited them to just two efforts on goal and ended up losing 2-1.
“There was not much in it for the majority of the game; they started better than us, but we got into it after they took the lead and it was pretty evenly-matched.
“Its fine margins where decision-making can win and lose you games. Obviously we are disappointed to end our home League games with a defeat but we have two matches left and we will be ready to go again on Tuesday.
“We know what we have to do. There’s everything still to play for and we have to make sure that we lift ourselves for the next challenge and bring home those three points from Weston super Mare.”
