THE WHITE Tigers have learned a lot from our three recent home pre-season friendly fixtures against Exeter City, Cardiff City XI and Swansea City Under-23s.
“It’s been a good exercise for us,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “We’ve learned a lot from each game against different types of opposition.
“The games have also allowed the new lads settle in and generally we’ve taken plenty of positives out of all three games.
“It’s all about being ready for when the season gets underway and I am pleased with where we’re at right now.
“We’ve been able to have a good look at the group and it’s given me a headache in the sense that there are so many candidates for a starting place, but, of course, I can only pick 11!
“We’re almost there in terms of the squad. There may be one or two further additions but we’ve got the bulk of it sorted now.”
