Robinson gives his verdict on Emirates FA Cup stalemate at Hereford...

THE WHITE Tigers came home from Hereford with a goalless draw on Saturday in the Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying.
It was a battling display as we brought our hosts back to Plainmoor for a replay on Wednesday evening.
“It was an entertaining game and a closely-fought battle between two good sides,” said manager, Leigh Robinson. “I was really pleased with the effort that my players put in; we worked extremely hard throughout the game and were gutted that we couldn’t take our chance towards the end.
“That said, I am happy with the way in which we acquitted ourselves. We looked well-organised and solid defensively, which gave us a good foundation on which to build.
“I have a lot of respect for Hereford as a club and I am delighted that we have another opportunity at trying to get through to the next round on Wednesday evening.
“I am expecting another tough, blood-and-thunder Cup tie as both sides go hard at it. The rewards are there if we can get through and we will be doing all that we can to make it into the next round.”
Should the scores finish level at the end of 90 minutes on Wednesday, the game will go to extra-time and then penalties if necessary.
The draw for the third round qualifying will take place on Monday lunchtime.
