It's a return to home action for the first time in a month on Saturday...

THE WHITE Tigers are keen to get back into home action for the first time in a month on Saturday as we take on Chelmsford City (kick-off 3.00pm).
Our visitors sit fourth in the table, but are just four points above us. They have won eight of their 17 games on the road this term but left it late to salvage a point from a 1-1 draw at Hungerford Town last weekend.
We lost 2-0 in Essex back in August so we will be looking to redress the balance on Saturday and in doing so take points off another fellow play-off hopeful having won at St. Albans City in our last game to end a run of three straight defeats.
“It’s good to get back into home action for what is another big game against a side in and around us in the table,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “I was delighted with the response from the lads at St. Albans City last weekend. Losing three games in a row meant that we slipped out of the play-off places for the first time in a while but we rolled our sleeves up and against another side with play-off aspirations, we battled out a good win.
“It was a real team performance with everyone putting in a shift to protect our lead and bring home the points against opponents with plenty of quality throughout their team.
“We know only too well that we’re going to have to work equally as hard on Saturday against another strong side in Chelmsford City.
“They have a big squad but we go in to the game in a positive frame of mind and having prepared well to face the challenge that they will present to us.”
This is the first of two home games in quick succession for The White Tigers as we follow it up with the visit of current League leaders, Havant & Waterlooville, on Tuesday evening.
“The games will come thick and fast between now and the end of the season but I am confident that we have the right character and required fitness levels to be able to face the task head-on,” added Hodges. “It’s a time for everyone to give it one final push towards the finish line and do all that we can in order to achieve our objectives.
“We’ve worked extremely hard to put ourselves into this position and there is a determination amongst everyone at the club to see the job through and make what has already been a memorable season extra special.”
Come and show your support in these big games ahead...
There will be a minute's silence ahead of Saturday's game in memory of Morrish Truscott who sadly passed away at the age of 77 recently. He was a great character on the Cornish football scene and had previously involvement here at Truro City. We extend our sympathy to his family and friends at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
