THE WHITE Tigers have an instant opportunity to bounce back from Saturday’s opening day defeat as we travel to Weston super Mare on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).
As we were going down 4-0 at the hands of the much-fancied Billericay Town, tonight’s hosts were losing 4-1 at Wealdstone, so both teams will be keen to bounce back in the right way.
“I will be looking for the right response from my players,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “It was a disappointing performance on Saturday, but whilst Billericay are a very good team, three of their four goals were of our own doing.
“We changed things around at half-time and started the second half with more purpose but we failed to make it count.
“Now our focus is on Tuesday’s important game. We know that we have to perform much better and we’ll go there determined to get our first points on the board.”
