Back on home soil for the visit of Hungerford Town...

THE WHITE Tigers return to home soil on Tuesday determined to respond to Saturday’s defeat at Chippenham Town in the right way as we play host to Hungerford Town (kick-off 7.45pm).
“Every game is bigger than the last at this stage of the season,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “We face a Hungerford side that need the points to secure their own status at this level, so both teams will go out there with plenty to play for.
“We have to ensure that we want it more than they do; we were disappointed with our performance at the weekend and it’s important that we focus our attention on bouncing back in the right way.
“There are 12 points still to play for and we’ll be looking to pick up as many of those as possible and see where it takes us.
“It would be nice to see a large and vocal crowd in attendance to cheer us on. We need that kind of backing to help us through the battles that lie ahead.
“We’ve worked so hard to get this far and now we must ensure that we end the season in a positive fashion.”
There was some deserved recognition for The White Tigers and in particular goalkeeper, Tom McHale, on Monday when he was included in the England C squad to face their Irish counterparts next month.
Our visitors sit five points clear of the relegation zone. They have won five of their 18 away League games so far this term.
We beat them 1-0 in the reverse fixture back in November.
