THE WHITE Tigers hit the road this weekend as we head to Hungerford Town on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).
Having torn apart then League leaders, Dartford, in our last game, we make the journey in good heart as we look to strengthen our position amongst the leading clubs.
We go into the game in third place in the table, just four points off the top and with a game in hand over the top two.
“We’re where we want to be at the moment,” admitted manager, Lee Hodges. “We’ve set ourselves some high standards this season and proving hard to break down and beat, something that we need to maintain on a consistent basis.
“There’s a lot of positivity and belief amongst the group; they are taking on board what they’re being told and giving me everything.
“Our performance in the last game was fantastic; we were on the front-foot right from the off and caused what was a very good Dartford side all sorts of problems.
“Saturday’s game will be another tough one and we need to approach it in the right way and make sure that our attitude is spot-on.
“Hopefully we can put in performance that will see us bring home the points.”
Hungerford Town sit 17th in the table having lost five of their nine League games on home soil so far this term.
They suffered an agonising 1-0 defeat at Wealdstone in their last game as they succumbed to a last-minute penalty.
