THE WHITE Tigers get back on the road on Saturday as we head to Eastbourne Borough (kick-off 3.00pm).
We will certainly have a spring in our step having won our last three games without conceding a goal, including Tuesday’s hard-earned 1-0 victory over League leaders, Havant & Waterlooville.
“There were plenty of positives to come out of our last three performances,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “Now our focus turns to the next game as we prepare for another tricky one at the weekend.
“The boys are in god spirits but at the same time they know that they can’t just turn up and expect to win, our attitude has to be right and we must continue doing the things that have served us well in recent games.
“We have to treat it like a mini Cup Final. It’s on a 3G surface and we’ve not been great on these this season, but we’re ready for the challenge of adding to our points tally against Eastbourne Borough.
“These are the type of games where we have come unstuck in the past, but we go into it with plenty of belief.”
Our hosts sit 16th in the table with four wins from their 17 home League games so far. They secured a good 1-0 win at Bath City in their last game and beat us by the same scoreline at Treyew Road back in August.
