White Tigers set for Hereford test...

THE WHITE Tigers set out on the Emirates FA Cup trail on Saturday with a trip to Hereford in the second round qualifying.
Having enjoyed a memorable run to the first round proper in last year’s competition, we are keen to create more memories.
We face a Hereford side who have found the early going tough in The National League North following their promotion at the end of last season with three wins from their opening nine League games.
It is a record that saw manager, Peter Beadle, pay the price as he departed the club recently. They have appointed Tim Harris as Head of Football this week as they change their managerial structure.
Our hosts have a proud history in this competition and there is sure to be a large crowd in attendance at Edgar Street.
“We’re going to need big characters to step up to the plate,” said manager, Leigh Robinson. “It will be a good test in front of a big crowd.
“This is the FA Cup and anything can happen; I’ve seen enough positives from my opening couple of games to know that we’re moving in the right direction.
“We have worked hard in preparation for this game. The lads are putting the effort in as we look to get our fitness levels to where they need to be.
“It’s something that won’t happen overnight but we are getting there.
“A good Cup run would be a big help to the club on and off-the-field, so we’ll be giving it everything we’ve got.”
Come and show your support…
