THE WHITE Tigers begin a new era on Saturday as we travel to take on Gloucester City in Leigh Robinson’s first game at the helm.
The new boss can’t wait to get started as we go in search of our first League win of the season.
“I am really looking forward to the game,” he said. “We trained together for the first time on Thursday evening and I was very impressed by the spirit and application of the lads.
“Hopefully we can take this into Saturday’s game; it will be a different experience for me picking a team that I don’t know absolutely everything about at this stage.
“The coming weeks will give the players an opportunity to make a positive impression on myself and Meaks [Michael Meaker].
“I will be looking for us to start as we mean to go on against a Gloucester side who have started the season in a solid fashion.”
Our hosts will be looking to add to their 13 points so far with four wins from their opening eight League games.
Meanwhile we will be without the suspended Jordan Copp.
