THERE’S a mouth-watering game in prospect on Saturday as The White Tigers head to East Thurrock United (kick-off 3.00pm).
We go there on the back of a fantastic six-game winning run, whilst our hosts are yet to taste defeat in their ten League games so far.
Both sides sit level on 22 points at the top of the table.
“It’s a game that we are really looking forward to,” admitted manager, Lee Hodges. “We’re on a roll at the moment and so are they; it will be two in-form teams going head-to-head, so it makes for a good game in prospect.
“Both teams have proven to be difficult to beat so far this season; we’re working hard and playing with plenty of belief at the moment.
“Whilst we weren’t at our best in our last game against AFC Portchester, we managed to get the job done. The substitutes came on and made the difference and it just proves that we have plenty of options this season.
“Winning football matches breeds confidence and we’ve got plenty of that, so whilst it will be a tough game for us on Saturday, we go there ready to meet the challenge head-on.”
