Boss looking for home comforts...

THE WHITE Tigers return to home action on Saturday as we play host to East Thurrock United (kick-off 3.00pm).
It’s a big game for both clubs as we look to pull away from the lower reaches of the table, whilst our visitors find themselves sat in the bottom three, four points from safety.
We go into it on the back of a draw at play-off chasing Bath City last weekend, whilst East Thurrock had a good victory over Billericay Town to end a run of four games without a win.
The reverse of this fixture at the start of November ended in a 2-2 draw and it’s sure to be another closely-fought encounter this time around.
“There’s no question that it’s another key game for us,” said manager, Leigh Robinson. “If we win we could find ourselves handily-placed clear of the relegation zone, but we have to respect the fact that East Thurrock were seconds away from a result against Torquay and then beat Billericay so they will certainly have some momentum behind them.
“They will be highly motivated to get a result bearing in mind their League position, but so will we and we’ll be giving it everything we’ve got.
“It was a really odd day in the division last weekend with no team in the top half winning, which no-one would have predicted going into the games and again it just goes to show the unpredictable nature of football at this level. “
