THE WHITE Tigers will be looking to start 2018 as we mean to go on with victory over Poole Town at Treyew Road on New Year’s Day (kick-off 3.00pm).
It will be the second game of our double-header against The Dolphins after we came home from Dorset with a 3-0 victory in the rain on Boxing Day.
The win saw us end the year in sixth place in the table, just three points off the top after what has been a solid campaign so far.
“To end the year getting three points in the manner we did was brilliant,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “It was a tough game in difficult conditions, but the lads worked hard to get a deserved win.
“Going into the New Year, we’re well and truly in the mix, which was the aim at the start of the season.
“It’ll be another tough challenge for us but we’re looking forward to it and hopefully we can start the year as we mean to go on with a win.
“We’re looking forward to what the next 12 months holds in store.”
