THE WHITE Tigers will be looking to bounce back from consecutive home defeats as we travel to League leaders, Dartford, on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).
We ran out worthy 3-1 winners against the Kent outfit at Treyew Road back in November and a similar level of performance is going to be required this weekend.
Our hosts sit ten points above us and have lost just two of their 15 League games on home soil.
They picked up a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Wealdstone last weekend with both of their goals coming in the final ten minutes.
Meanwhile White Tigers’ boss, Lee Hodges, is plotting a response having seen his side throw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at the hands of Oxford City in our last game.
“When you are 2-0 up at home at half-time, you expect to see the game out,” he said. “We became too open in the second half and I can’t put my finger on why that happened.
“It’s been a case of getting back to basics this week and working on a few things in preparation for Saturday’s game.
“We’re ready for the challenge that stands before us; the lads were hurting after last weekend’s game and we are determined not to feel like that again.
“Obviously Dartford are a very good side. The League table doesn’t lie at this stage of the season, but we will go there and give it everything we’ve got.
“We’ve worked hard this season and we don’t want to see all that go to waste. By working together we can achieve our objectives.”
