Boss looks ahead to Hampton & Richmond Borough clash...

THE WHITE Tigers face familiar opponents on Saturday as we look to make it into the first round proper of the Emirates FA Cup.
Just seven days after playing out a 1-1 draw with Hampton & Richmond Borough in the Treyew Road rain, we once more lock horns with FA Cup progress being the prize this time.
“It will be another closely-fought affair,” said manager, Lee Hodges. “I have a feeling that it’ll be the team who has Lady Luck on their side on the day who will go through.
“We’ll go there with nothing to lose. It’s a game that we are looking forward to and we’ve worked hard in our preparation this week to give ourselves the best possible chance of winning the game.
“I am told that no Cornish team has reached that stage of the competition for almost half-a-century, so it gives us something to aim for.
“Both teams know a bit about each other now and both teams will also fancy their chances of making progress. It was evenly-matched last weekend and it’s sure to be a similar story on Saturday.”
Both teams are protecting long unbeaten runs. The White Tigers are nine games without defeat, whilst Hampton & Richmond are ten games unbeaten.
Should a replay be required, it will take place here at Treyew Road on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).
