Matt Wright has decided to join Division One South and West side Taunton Town. Truro City manager Lee Hodges offered him the opportunity to return to Treyew Road for pre-season training when he gets back from holiday later this month but Matt has decided to take up an offer from the Somerset team.

Matt has been a big presence at Truro City in the last two seasons and the club would like to thank him for his contribution to the club's success over that time. We wish him every success with Taunton Town.

In other news, two more of the Truro City squad from last season have agreed deals for 2016-17 and will be signing contracts in the next few days. Negotiations with other players are ongoing and announcements will be made in due course.
