White Tigers add to squad...

THERE’S a familiar face back in The White Tigers squad after River Allen returned from Tiverton Town.
The midfielder was a popular figure last term as we made the play-offs and he is relishing his return to the club.
“I am delighted to be back,” he said. “This club means a lot to me and hopefully I can play my part in helping us climb up the League table under the new management team.
“I am looking forward to the challenge ahead and getting back into the swing of things. I enjoyed my time at Tiverton but when the call came to return here, it was too good an opportunity to turn down.”
Also joining the club is emerging midfielder, Dan Rooney, who has arrived on a one-month loan from Plymouth Argyle.
The 19 year-old hails from Torpoint and is the brother of Louis Rooney.
He joined the Pilgrims’ Academy in 2007 and during that time he has progressed well to earn a professional contract and also earn International recognition with Northern Ireland at Under-17 and 19 levels.
He has versatility and is able to play as an attacking or holding midfielder.
Both players stand by to figure in Saturday’s home game against Hemel Hempstead Town, which will be played at Plainmoor with a 3.00pm kick-off.
