Jamie Lowry appointed head of youth development at Godolphin Atlantic (whilst retaining his role at Truro City).

Godolphin Atlantic AFC are delighted to announce that Jamie Lowry has accepted the role and responsibility of ‘head of youth development’ - a move that underpins the commitment by the club to provide a place of excellence for young footballers. Jay Heaton, who established the role said ‘having taken the last 3-4 yrs to establish a systematic belief that can benefit all standards of player, it is with great pleasure that I hand over the reins to a man of Jamie's calibre. It’s like a dream; I’ve worked with Jamie for well over a year now and knowing what football means to to him, it means that this Academy can become something very special’.

Jamie commented saying’ I am both delighted and excited to have given the opportunity to take on the role of ‘head of youth development’ at the G. The club has made great strides on and off the pitch with the youth system and I’m looking forward to building on the the solid set of foundations that Jay Heaton has successfully implemented.

Anyone considering joining the G family should be making contact soon and not waiting until the end of the season. The intake will be based on quality over quantity and we want to make sure teams are vetted. At the G we take players having fun ‘seriously’. Jamie can be contacted through Facebook on Godolphin Atlantic Juniors or tweet @GodolphinAtlanticAFC

Many thanks to Jay Heaton of Heaton & Sons Builders, who are the player sponsor of Jamie Lowry at Truro City FC.
