EVERYTHING clicked into place at the weekend as The White Tigers ran out worthy 3-1 winners to topple League leaders, Dartford.
It was a performance full of spirit, endeavour and plenty of skill, with Cody Cooke helping himself to two well-taken goals.
“It was a fantastic performance from the boys,” he said as he made it eight goals for the season. “We knew it was a big game and we wanted to keep our momentum going, which we did.
“The first 20 minutes was one of the best displays that I have been involved with at the club. We absolutely tore them apart and they simply had no answer to us.
“We knew that with the wind in the first half we could put the pressure on them and get goals, which is exactly what we did.
“We’re used to these type of conditions and we were able to use it to our advantage to get what we deserved.
“It’s a case of being about to build on this now. We’ve set some high standards and the challenge is to be able to reach them on a consistent basis.
“From a personal point of view, it is always nice to get on the scoresheet and I was pleased with both of my goals, the second of which was particularly nice!
“We’ve put ourselves into an excellent position in the League now and it’s all about kicking on and continuing to do what we are doing.
“The club is a great place to be right now.”
