HAVING played his part in our goalless draw with Poole Town on Tuesday evening, local lad, Cody Cooke, believes that The White Tigers have what it takes to launch another push to be involved in the leading pack.

“It was always going to be difficult this year having had such a good season last time out,” admitted the popular midfielder who has over 200 appearances for the club under his belt. “There are some good teams at this level; every year it gets even more competitive and there are a lot of clubs spending big.

“It’s a competitive League with everyone capable of beating each other and there is no reason why we can’t be up there again. That said, we have to be realistic and not get too carried away.

“Things really snowballed for us last season and our belief grew and grew. It was a real achievement for the club and the county as a whole and it would be nice to do something similar this year.”
