WE ARE delighted to announce that Leigh Robinson has been named as the Vanarama National League South Manager of the Month for November.
We secured three wins and a draw from our four games during the month with League victories over Dulwich Hamlet and Chelmsford City, a FA Trophy triumph over Greenwich Borough and a draw at East Thurrock.
“It’s always nice to receive a bit of recognition, but personally I never take any personal satisfaction from awards like this as it is always a huge team effort from the staff and players,” said Robinson as he received his award. “As a management team you can do all the great preparation, team talks or coaching as you like but the players still have to go out and perform which in November they certainly did and all credit to them for that.
“We still have plenty of work to do and are trying to improve week by week so whilst this is a nice tip of the cap in our direction, we're still not where we want to be and we'll all keep working both on and off the pitch until we are.”
