The news that Cornwall FA will not be participating in out of county representative football at any level has disappointed Peter Masters.

Now that the TCFC have been promoted to the National South division, the club is Cornwall’s highest ranking representative club. Assuming planning consent for the relocation to their new ground at Silver Bow is granted on the 16th June, where they will have a 3G pitch and ground capacity for 4,000 spectators, the club will work with Cornwall FA to explore how it can help with bringing the U18s back into representative football.

“The English Schools international against Wales back in March was a huge success in creating a window on Cornish football so the U18s should form a platform for young players to progress their footballing careers at the very highest level” says Peter Masters.

All this can be achieved through an independent football stadium at Silver Bow where the TCFC will be playing from the start of the 16/17 season.
