JACK RICHARDS CHRISTMAS THANK YOU

Cameron Weldon

Club Chairman Jack Richards has written a personal message of thanks to all players, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters…

“In these interesting and difficult times, in a year where, we as a club, have faced all sorts of trials and tribulations I think we should all be proud of what we have been able to achieve under these trying circumstances.

We would like to give a special festive thank you to all of those proud to be a part of Truro City Football Club.

Our supporters both at home and those who get the opportunity to follow us at away games.

Our owner and sponsors for their kind support.

Our ground volunteers who help us through all sorts of weather conditions to get the ground ready.

Our match day staff and volunteers, who during the COVID restrictions have done a sterling job in trying to adhere to the strict government requirements, and at the same time keeping the fans happy and safe.

Our Under 18’s for their great effort, not only after the impressive FA Youth Cup run, but also their fine performances in the league.

The Grasshoppers Youth side for a big win when they played at Treyew Road, but also for all the match day help they provide to us.

Last but of course not least, we as a club are very proud of how our first team and backroom staff have performed. Easily top of the league when last season was expunged, we certainly deserved to be promoted. Fourth in the league this season until it was halted having played most of the top clubs. We also had our best ever FA Trophy run which was regrettably ended due to COVID19 catching up with a couple of the players. Who knows where we could have gone in that competition?

We at the club would like to wish you all a Merry and Festive Season.

Please keep safe and healthy.”

Jack
