Player Profiles 2018/19

Austen Booth – Emerging powerful defender who arrived during the summer of 2017 and is expected to have a bright future ahead of him in the game. Went out on loan last season in order to gain competitive experience.

Jordan Copp – The midfielder re-joined Truro City in the summer of 2017 after spending some time at Weymouth. He is a talented performer in the engine room of the side.

Ben Harding – An experienced midfielder who joined Truro from Gosport Borough after playing for several Football League clubs. His know-how and calming influence has been an important ingredient in the team.

Alex Hartridge – The teenage full-back returned to the club on loan from League Two outfit, Exeter City in the summer of 2018 having done well for us throughout the previous campaign during a similar spell.

Tyler Harvey – The livewire front-man returned to the club early in 2017/18 having had a spell the previous season following his release from Wrexham. He scored some important goals last term including one at Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup. He is a former Plymouth Argyle youngster.

Ed Palmer – A robust and no-nonsense central defender who has plenty of experience and is now in his third spell with The White Tigers where he was a key figure in the heart of the back-line last term.

Jamie Richards- A versatile performer with higher level experience who joined the club during the course of 2016/17 following his release by Torquay United. He started his career at Southend United, where he emerged through the ranks before going on to serve the likes of Plymouth Argyle, Weymouth and Northern Irish outfit, Linfield. He has now made over 100 appearances for the club.

Niall Thompson – The winger/striker is a popular figure whose former clubs include Hucknall Town, Sheffield FC, Mickleover Sports and Torquay United, from where he was loaned to The White Tigers in 2014/15. He agreed a new deal in the summer of 2018.

Noah Keats – The hard-working midfield man joined the club in the 2017/18 campaign. He started his career at Exeter City where he came through the ranks before having a spell in the USA. Also serving Bath City, he likes to get forward at every opportunity.

Billy Palfrey – The full-back has been a reliable and consistent figure since his arrival during the summer of 2017. He is a product of the Plymouth Argyle Academy as well as serving Torquay United on loan.

Connor Riley-Lowe – A product of the Exeter City youth team, he signed professionally for The Grecians in 2014 and went on to have a loan spell with The White Tigers before joining the club permanently in the summer of 2017 upon his release from the League Two club. Had an impressive 2017/18 campaign.

Max Smallcombe – The hard-working and energetic midfielder, who hails from Bodmin, joined the club on loan from Exeter City in the summer of 2018. The former Wales Under-17 International has been on the fringes of The Grecians’ first-team since signing his fist professional contract in April 2017.

Cameron Kelly – A commanding central defender who impressed during pre-season before signing a deal in July 2018. He previously served Buckland Athletic where he was a key member of their team.

Louis Rooney – The talented front-man returned to the club in the summer of 2018 having previously had a loan spell in 2016/17. The Northern Ireland International came through the ranks at Plymouth Argyle before serving Linfield.

Lloyd Gardner – A midfielder of undoubted talent and ability who was given his opportunity in the summer of 2018 having made excellent progress with Buckland Athletic. He is a player who likes to get forward at every opportunity. He has also served Bideford.

Corey Harvey – An agile and determined goalkeeper who has signed on a dual registration with Bodmin Town. He is the brother of striker, Tyler Harvey.

Jojo Wollacott – The emerging goalkeeper had a successful loan spell with the club towards the end of last season and returns as part of his development in the game. He has previously served the likes of Weymouth, Bergsoy IL of Norway, Bath City and Woking.

Jared Lewington – A powerful front-man who became the club’s first signing of the summer of 2018. He enjoyed a successful 2017/18 in front of goal, firstly with Buckland Athletic and then Tiverton Town.

Tom Richards – A hard-working midfielder with a fantastic engine who has progressed well through the Bristol City ranks. He is a talented youngster who is expected to carve out a good career for himself in the game and joined us on loan in the summer of 2018 to gain much-needed competitive experience.

Paul Bignot – A defender who possesses plenty of experience, he joined the club in the summer of 2018. He started his career with Crewe Alexandra before serving the likes of Kidderminster Harriers, Newport County, Plymouth Argyle (on loan), Grimsby Town, Barrow and AFC Telford United. He has also been capped by England at C level.
